Saturday, September 26th 9am-6pm This year's Street Painting Festival is moving to Westminster and Union Streets and adding an Artisan Marketplace, where visitors can purchase handcrafted items by local and regional artists. Yummy snacks, drinks, and musical entertainment will be available throughout the day. The festival boasts 300 professional and amateur street painting artists from around New England competing for a chance to win the grand prize. The artists create 70 concrete masterpieces along Union Street and are joined on Westminster St. by the Artisan Marketplace, highlighting 60 booths filled with handcrafted items by local and regional artists. Their will be live music from 12pm - 6pm by Bandstand Review, Milt Javery, and the Ignitors, and a food court offering a great selection of treats. |
